The World Tree of Life is the basis of all Scandinavian myths, which unites all Scandinavian mythology into one whole. From the legends it is known that long before the birth of people and gods, the ash tree Yggdrasil appeared, which united all the existing worlds. In addition to the Scandinavian peoples, the description of this tree can be found in most peoples, such as the Slavs, Turks, Iranians. Mention of it is found in various religions – Buddhism, Islam, Kabbalah. It is a common element in all cultures that the giant tree is seen as the center of the world that links all life.
